We meet on the 3rd Monday in the month at 7-30pm at Holbrook Moor Methodist Church, Moorside Lane, Holbrook DE56 0TW. (Just opposite the Village Store). From September to April we enjoy talks on various gardening and other horticultural subjects by visiting speakers. Then during the summer May - August we get out and about to visit other gardens.
There is no membership fee, just a small charge on the evening.
All are welcome
During the warmer months we go and visit other gardens - details will be announced later

Alan is a grower/ exhibitor of Fuchsias as well as being a judge for the national society.
From a humble Bedfordshire background Paxton became the Head Gardener at Chatsworth in Derbyshire by the age of 23. With his tremendous abilities and energy, allied to great support from the sixth Duke of Devonshire and his competent and devoted wife Sarah, he became....come to the talk and all will be revealed.
Apples, pears, plums, raspberries - all of these we know and probably grow in our own gardens.
Sally will educate us into some different fruits you can grow.
Graham is a National Vegetable Society judge. Many of us would like to grow more veg but do not have the space, however, Graham & Jane will show us how you don't need a large garden to cultivate home grown vegetables.
